Solanco Food Bank Partnership
Grace Community Church collects and donates non-perishable food items for the Solanco Food Bank, serving families in Southern Lancaster County. Each month, GCC focuses on specific items that are of high request at the food bank.
Please check the bulletin or contact the church office for this month's focused items. If you wish to donate, please drop off non-perishable food items on Sunday morning or during office hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Community Meal – Lancaster County Council of Churches
On an as-needed basis, Grace Community Church helps with providing, preparing, and serving the evening meal at Redeemer Lutheran Church for nearly 200 Lancaster residents in need. This community meal program is run by the LCCC. The menu varies and items are requested periodically. In order to donate financially, you can place donations in the offering boxes in envelopes marked "Lancaster Community Meal". We have sign-ups in our church lobby as needed, and ask for people who have gifts to serve in these ways.
Please contact Jo Glick with questions about helping with this ministry: 717-626-0797.
Water Street Ministries
Water Street Ministries serves individuals living in homelessness and poverty in South-East and South-Central Pennsylvania. Through Christian faith and guidance, they strive to change one life at a time.
Grace Community often partners with Water Street Ministries by donating canned food, and adult members of the congregation serve as mentors to those at the mission.

Operation Barnabas & City Life
For the past few summers, we have had teens participate in a ministry training trip called Operation Barnabas. These trips are scattered throughout the country, and consist of teens being trained to lead peers in ministry. The teens run worship services, and offer assistance to those in need. The teens come back with the tools to minister to those around them in their schools, churches, and communities.

Urban Hope, Philadelphia
We partner with Urban Hope periodically to do inner-city ministries. Most recently, the teens of IMPACT spent a weekend utilizing a smoke detector ministry, to spark conversation with those they were ministering to. They knocked on doors and offered free installation of smoke detectors, and while installing these, shared the gospel. This is just one way we partner with Urban Hope to reach inner-city Philadelphia.

The Relief Bus outreach consists of two former school buses now customized into mobile resource centers to help the poor and homeless. Friendly faces serve up a delicious, hearty vegetable soup that truly tantalizes the taste buds, fresh Portuguese rolls and hot chocolate or iced tea (depending on the season) complete the menu.
Over 20 years time, The Relief Bus:
1) Served over 4.5 million servings of food and beverage.
2) Connected 191,000 people to help and hope.
3) Mobilized over 48,000 volunteers to serve with our outreach.
